B.Sc. Nursing

This programme consists of 4 years learning in the clinical area integrated with theoretical instructions Prescribed by the Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University and Indian Nursing Council. The purpose of this degree programme is to enable the students to get a broader vision of nursing, based on scientific principles and extensive clinical experience. Graduates of this programme with experience can rapidly move to leadership and supervisory positions in teaching and practice.

Eligibility:

Candidates should have completed 17years on or before 31st of December of the academic year Admission is based on TNPPCA norms who apply for management quota. It is required that the candidates should have completed Higher Secondary or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English as subjects. Candidates must have obtained 45% aggregate marks on these subjects in the first attempt of writing the examination.

No improvement marks also been counted. Candidates have to demonstrate appropriate aptitude and interest for nursing during admission. Any how the management Decision is final within the limits of Law. Communities also applicable within Tamil Nadu. For students after Management Quota, Candidate should undertake the common Entrance Test as a mandatory. The information regarding this can be obtained from the college office.

Application procedure:

All the columns have to be filled in by the candidate's own handwriting. Filled in applications should reach the office.Application form can be downloaded from the college website.
Xerox copy of the +2 mark list if available. If it is in any other language other than English, it has to be translated in to English and attested by the Principal of the school.
If the subjects are written in code the copy of the page where the expansion of the code is given has to be sent along with the copy of mark list.
Overseas and other State candidates should attach an eligibility certificate from "The Tamil Nadu Dr. M. G. R. Medical University Chennai".
Community certificate if he/she belongs to backward/most backward/scheduled caste/scheduled tribe.
Photograph (passport size) 2 Nos. to be attached.
