Over all objective The candidate is prepared to function in a leadership position in selected areas of clinical speciality, Nursing education, Administration and research and carryout independent Research studies.

Eligibility:

The candidate should have

Passed the qualification of B.Sc., Nursing Degree of this university or any other university accepted as equivalent thereto. They must have 55% of marks in B.Sc.(N) Degree.

Should have registered with the state nurses and midwives council

B.Sc., Nursing graduates should have one year of experience in teaching hospital or in a college or in a school of Nursing in Community health programme after registration.

The B.Sc., Trained Nurses need not have one year of experience after qualification for admission to be M.Sc., Nursing programme. They can be admitted to M.Sc., Nursing soon after the qualification in any branch of study.

Every candidate before admission to this programme shall submit to the Principal of the institution a certificate of Medical fitness from an aubtorized Medical Officer that the candidate is physically fit to undergo the academic programme.

Candidate before seeking admission to any one of the affiliated Nursing institutions shall obtain an eligibility certificate from the university by remitting the prescribed fees along with the application form. Quote your application number when you write to us.

The candidate will be allowed for the admission only with the original certificates of the following:

• Mark list of the qualifying examination.
• Certificate for Date of Birth
• Transfer Certificate
• Conduct certificate from the institution the student last studied.
• NOC from the University for Students from other states or countries.

• Community certificate for all except OC.
