Curriculum:

The revised curriculum recommended by Indian Nursing Council has been implemented from the academic year 2006-2007.

Faculty Positions:

Both full time and part time faculty are selected with care and inducted as per the norms prescribed by Indian Nursing Council. Teams of qualified and well experienced faculty from Premier institutions assess, organize, plan, implement and evaluate the curriculum effectively and efficiently with the ambition of developing best care providers. The goal of the college is achieved by their dedicated service.

B.Sc. Nursing

Fees:

Candidates are to pay the prescribed fees as per Government and Management norms on admission. Amount and mode of payment will be informed during the process of admission. Hostel and mess fees have to be paid on monthly basis. The university prescribed fees for examination shall also have to be paid based on information from the university.

List of Articles to be brought by the student.

  • Mattress
  • Pillow and (2) pillow cases
  • A small flash light
  • A wrist watch with central second hand
  • Personal care items - Toiletries, Towels etc.
  • A bucket and a mug
  • A plate, tumbler and Spoons
  • 5 set of cloths - Sarees or Churidar with Shawl and 5 cotton sarees.

M.Sc. Nursing

Over all objective

The candidate is prepared to function in a leadership position in selected areas of clinical speciality, Nursing education, Administration and research and carryout independent Research studies.

Medium of Instruction

English shall be the Medium of Instruction for all the subjects of study and for examinations of the M.Sc., Post graduate degree Nursing programme

Registration

A candidate admitted to this programme in any of the affiliated Nursing Colleges shall register with this university by remitting the prescribed fees along with the application form for registration duly filled in and forwarded to this university through the head of the institution within the stipulated date.

Duration of the Programme (Course) (non semester)

The duration of certified study for the M.Sc., Nursing programme shall extend over a period of two academic years.
